Formica Group joins Articad Supplier Partnership Programme

* FORMICA-ARTICAD.jpgFormica Group has joined the ArtiCAD Supplier Partnership Programme, which means that its worktop collections for the residential market - Formica Prima, Axiom by Formica Group and Aria - are now available as comprehensive graphics catalogues within the ArtiCAD-Pro software.

Both the Prima and Axiom brands were relaunched in October 2020 to incorporate major new designs, decors and styles. Designers using the ArtiCAD-Pro software are able to access all the new designs and incorporate the latest Formica surfaces into their kitchen designs.

The new partnership with ArtiCAD is the first time in Formica Group's long history that it has worked with a CAD company for its residential collections. The Formica Group graphics within the ArtiCAD catalogue have been carefully produced, enabling designers to showcase the different worktops in situ within a new kitchen design. Such is the level of detail in the graphics that the different thicknesses and edges of the products can be clearly seen, which is useful for both designers and their customers.

Kitchen studios selling the Formica collections have been provided with a POS stand, catalogues and samples of the products. These items are now complemented by the comprehensive ArtiCAD catalogue which includes every single design and the thickness option for each collection, which can be selected and then incorporated into the ArtiCAD design.

"Working with ArtiCAD and becoming a member of its Supplier Partnership Programme is an important step for our company in elevating the brand's presence and visibility in the residential kitchen design marketplace, especially as we launch the new Prima and Axiom collections,” notes Nina Bailey, UK design manager at Formica Group.

"The Prima collection offers everything today's style-conscious homeowner is looking for, from the natural beauty of stone and wood for the worktop through to vibrant colours and chic metallic effects as a feature splashback. Axiom captures timeless design, with an emphasis on nature and the outside world. New intricate and abstract patterns for the worktops combine with feature splashbacks in a new varied colour palette, ranging from muted and delicate tones to moody rich hues."

The new streamlined Prima collection comprises 34 on-trend core surface designs, complemented by 16 new worktop decors and 10 feature splashbacks in light woods, warm stones and solid colours.

The Axiom collection comprises 50 designs, 20 of which are new, 18 feature splashbacks and 50 matching ones, with three new textures. Lighter woods, stones and slate finishes, available in 22mm and 38mm square edges, and 38mm profiled edges, are designed to enrich the look and feel of the surfaces. Each worktop design has been perfectly curated to ensure the most appropriate edge and thickness has been selected.

The Aria collection features classic bold designs, with marble veining, granite and engineered stone patterns. It is available in three colours, 15 different decors and 12mm and 20mm thicknesses.

The major redesigns for both the Axiom and Prima ranges are based on extensive customer surveys and feedback undertaken by Formica Group, ensuring that the company retains its position as a leading worktop manufacturer.
