De Dietrich awards service contract to Assurant Solutions

De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances has appointed Assurant Solutions as the provider and administrator of all service repair contracts for both De Dietrich and Fagor brands in the UK*.

Speciality insurance provider, Assurant Solutions will provide a personalised call centre service for De Dietrich and Fagor customers from its European operations centre based in Cork, Republic of Ireland. The company will co-ordinate all service and repair requirements during both the manufacturers' and promotional warranty periods and further extended service warranty contracts will also be offered to customers. The after sales service telephone number published in all De Dietrich and Fagor literature and featured on respective websites will remain the same.

Demonstrating the commitment the company has invested in this relationship, De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances has installed a fully operational kitchen showroom at the offices of Assurant Solutions in Cork and has organised a programme of product training. This is designed to equip all Contact Centre staff with full up to date knowledge of the De Dietrich and Fagor appliance collections in order to effectively answer customer queries as they arise.

* Please note that the service contract with Assurant Solutions purely covers mainland UK only, and not Ireland. This is because De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances Ltd. has contracts with two separate independent distributors to market De Dietrich and Fagor products in Ireland and each works with their own appointed after sales service and warranty providers.
