KitchenAid's Vacuum Machine has the 'Chef Touch'

* KitchenAid-Vacuum-machine.jpg

Proper food preservation has not only become an increasingly important issue but also an essential science. With its built-in Vacuum Machine, premium manufacturer KitchenAid has produced a remarkably versatile product that preserves food up to three times longer than traditional methods to maintain organoleptic properties, nutrients, taste and colour.

The compact KSVC 3610 Vacuum Machine preserves food with the Sous Vide technique for packing food and ingredients in an airless environment. It is one of three appliances that form KitchenAid's brand new Chef Touch Sous Vide cooking system, which also comprises the KOCV 3610 Combi Steamer oven for gently cooking or perfectly re-heating food, and the KRAB 6010 Shock Freezer for rapid chilling or long term deep freezing.

Sous Vide cooking is a delicate, high quality, low temperature cooking method that affords culinary creativity. The secret is in blending fresh ingredients with their seasonings, vacuum-sealing them in special pouches and steaming them at temperatures never higher than 100 degrees C.
The Vacuum Machine, with a capacity of 17 litres, features two working modules for maximum flexibility; a vacuum cycle for pouches and one for containers.

"The KitchenAid Vacuum Machine is a truly professional system for improved food preservation and restaurant quality dishes at home," says Caroline Guillermard, Product Marketing Manager, KitchenAid. "It perfectly complements our Combi Steamer oven and Shock Freezer to provide the complete professional cooking system for the home.

"Apart from its exceptional capabilities, the system is visually stunning in situ."
