Burlington rocks & rolls into SCIN studio

* Burlington-Rocks.jpgLooking to increase the awareness of its quintessentially British natural stone products amongst the UK's leading interior designers, architects, developers and discerning home owners, Cumbria-based Burlington has teamed up with London-based surfaces and materials specialist consultants, SCIN.

Having secured display space within SCIN's Bermondsey Street showroom, design studio and library, Burlington's reknowned range of natural stones, quarried from the heart of the English Lake District, will now be on permanent display within what is a well known and popular central London location.

Serving as the ideal shop window from which to promote what Burlington rightly claims is one of the finest and most durable natural stones in the world, the showroom location is the perfect platform for Burlington to meet clients and demonstrate the depth and diversity of its natural stone product range - one that exudes the ultimate in opulence, quality and permanence.

Greeting visitors within the 'manufacturer' section of the SCIN showroom is a flooring montage created by Burlington to purvey the unique colour palette and seemingly unrivalled range of smooth and textured finishes that British stone engineers can offer using Burlington's signature natural stone collection. It is a flooring display made up of Burlington's seven natural stones and two limestones, all shown in a range of nine different finishes.

Commenting on the decision to display its products in association with SCIN, Burlington Stone's sales & marketing director, Nick Williams says: "Not only is SCIN focused on materials, it stands as a highly respected and popular reference location for anyone interested in researching interior and exterior surface finishes of the highest quality.

"Given that Burlington Stone offers a truly British product offering that represents the ultimate finishing statement and one that delivers a stunning and fashionable permanence to both traditional and contemporary design styles, then the synergy that exists between SCIN and Burlington is clear for all to see. It will present us with an ideal flagship environment from which to introduce Burlington and its natural stone products to London's most respected and active specifiers."

Trained architect and co-founder of SCIN, Annabelle Filer, is equally enthusiastic about stone engineers Burlington's decision to display what is a truly British natural stone, shaped by experienced craftsmen for over 170 years.

"Burlington Stone has a great heritage and is successful in marrying traditional with technical performance and innovation," she says. "What's more, the variety of patterns and hues that exist within each stone is extraordinary! They are a great addition to the portfolio of materials that SCIN has on display, and given that Burlington's stone complements any number of finishing materials, this is sure to excite specifiers specialising in all aspects of interior and exterior design."
