Corporate membership now available at the iKBBI

KBB Birmingham, 2012, also saw the launch of the The Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installers' brand new Corporate Membership programme.

This scheme has been rolled out across the UK with the sole purpose of enlisting KBB-related commercial businesses that have the very same vision as the iKBBI; to regulate and improve installation standards within the KBB sector.

Becoming an iKBBI Corporate Member will declare to the industry that you support positive change within the sector as The Institute focus on quality installation standards and service. Showing your support towards the iKBBI will also result in a new formal partnership with the highest-level professional body that focuses on Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom installation in the UK.

Possibly one of the most recognised and reputable high street brands, The John Lewis Partnership, signed up to the Pledge and become the first iKBBI Installation Standards Partner earlier this year, demonstrating again how important the consumer is to this national brand. The company joins Tesco and a growing number of independent retailers across the UK.

Matt Thomas, Buyer of Fitted Furniture at John Lewis, says: "At John Lewis, great customer service is key to our business ethos and even more so within the KBB sector. John Lewis is keen to support the iKBBI, who are striving to improve the standard of fitting in this industry as well as address the root cause of the current bad press and consumer perception."

Awareness for the iKBBI is set to rise as the industry begins to recognise its identity as a true mark of quality installation standards and consumer choice.
