Changes across the board at the KBSA

* KBSA-personnel.jpgA number of changes were made at the recent AGM of the KBSA with a new Chair being voted in, one new Regional Chair appointed at the AGM and two further Regional Chairs appointed by the KBSA board.

David Dalglish, of Knaresborough Kitchens, was elected as the new National Chair, taking over from Martin Thomas who has held the position for the last two and a half years.

David has been a longstanding member of the KBSA, having joined as soon as he was able after opening his own showroom some 14 years ago. He is a passionate believer in the benefits of membership and says: "My aim is to spread the word and increase membership and make more quality retailers proud to wear the KBSA badge."

Arron Bird from Anglia Interiors was voted onto the board to cover the East Midlands region. The board has also agreed the appointment of retail members Paul O'Brien from Kitchens International and Tina Riley from Modern Homes, who will be responsible for the regions of Scotland and the West Midlands respectively.

Graham Ball, CEO of the KBSA said: "It gives me great pleasure to welcome our new board members. Their combined experience and expertise will enhance our team and help us drive forward the development of the association. We are experiencing a period of sustained growth and we're in excellent shape to support both members and our customers.

"We owe a huge debt of thanks to Martin Thomas for all of the time he has invested in the association and the direction he has given us. Our thanks also go to Richard Marr who has retired from the board this year.
