The true value and importance of a good toilet revealed...

Robert believes that if more UK people were aware of the large amount of time spent using the loo and the fact that nearly half of the world's population don't have access to one, they may view their toilet more seriously and give more importance to any decisions relating to it.
On average most of us could spend as much as three years using the toilet during our lifetime. World Toilet Organization (WTO) information suggests that we could each be using one 2,500 times year at a rate of six to eight times a day.
UN figures show that nearly 40% of the world's population (the equivalent of 2.6 billion people) don't even have access to a toilet. Robert believes that these and other similar facts and figures help to illustrate an importance and value beyond the short term 'convenience' and relief that our toilets provide.
"Since the last half of the 20th century having a toilet in our home has been something we take for granted when in fact that's not the case in many other parts of the world even today," he says." A private flushing toilet is a luxury in global terms anyway, and as we going spend several years of our life using the loo, it's important to buy a comfortable one that looks great too."
Poor quality badly fitting toilet seats are known contributors to many of the thousand of toilet-related accidents that take place in the UK every year.
"A good quality comfortable toilet and seat that has been properly installed and well maintained positively enhances the look of the room that you spend quite a lot of time in, it saves you money in the long term being safer than a low cost, more flimsy alternative" says Robert.
