iKBBI announces leading industry brand name as new corporate member

Highly respected for introducing Corian to the UK, Britain's original solid surface distributor CD (UK) has become a corporate member of the iKBBI.

Gary Baker, Managing Director of the new corporate member says: "CD UK is delighted to be joining the iKBBI. As the exclusive distributor of DuPont Corian in the UK, we are proud of our track record of training fabricators and fitters for the KBB industry to be able to maintain the highest standards when working with Corian.

"We have recently obtained certification for our installation courses so that any installers trained by CD (UK) will have gained evidence towards passing the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Furniture, Interiors & Wood Machining Unit 229 Fit & Fix Worksurfaces through Webs Training."

Speaking on behalf of the iKBBI, National Membership Manager Paula Kavanagh says:

"We're thrilled that such an established company as CD UK has become a corporate member. It was an industry pioneer with Corian back in the early eighties and has continued to innovate ever since. We hope that our association will further establish the iKBBI in the months and years ahead."

CD UK has committed to the association for three years, taking advantage of a special iKBBI initiative that is still available.
