Deva's Satinjet Awatea Hi-Rise Adjustable Arm by Methven has scooped another award after achieving 'Highly Commended' in the bathrooms category of the Self Build Awards 2010.

Judged by leading industry professionals from the Federation of Master Builders and the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Satinjet Awatea Hi-Rise Adjustable Arm was chosen for its impressive water and energy saving capabilities and innovative design.

"We are delighted that such a highly regarded judging panel has bestowed this accolade on the Satinjet Awatea Hi-Rise Adjustable Arm," comments Deva Sales & Marketing manager Claire Stokes. "The achievement is testament to the Satinjet promise of quality design and performance coupled with long-term savings on energy and water."
The Satinjet range holds various prestigious awards including the Waterwise Marque for the Awatea and Kiri models, the Chicago Athenaeum 2005 shared with Apple iPod and Audi A6 for the Awatea Hi-Rise Adjustable Arm and the new Self Build Award 2010, again for the Awatea Hi-Rise Adjustable Arm.

Designed and engineered in New Zealand, the Satinjet range saves up to 40% on water and energy with each shower taken, subject to individual water and heating systems and without compromising on performance or design.

Satinjet uses pioneering twin jets to create 3,000 soft drops of water per second that drench the skin without feeling 'needle-like'. All this with just nine litres of water per minute compared with some conventional showers that require up to 20 litres of water a minute.

These showerheads are multipurpose, quality products that are easy to install, use and clean, yet are hardwearing, resistant to damage and adaptable to all water pressures, even unbalanced, ensuring they are readily manoeuvrable and safe for everyone to use, including the infirm and those with limited mobility.

Consumers can choose from the five individual Awatea chrome designs - suitable for contemporary and classic settings - comprising the handset & hose, which is perfect for upgrading existing showers; the wall mounted; the Hi-Rise Adjustable; the head only, and, the Shower Kit. Each Awatea features a unique push button to change the spray pattern and a dishwasher safe faceplate.

Satinjet Kiri showerheads are perfect for commercial applications and Satinjet Tahi for luxury domestic and commercial settings. All boast a lifetime parts guarantee.

The Satinjet Awatea Hi-Rise Adjustable Arm will be displayed via graphic panels at the National Home Building and Renovating Show at the NEC from 18th - 21st March 2010.
