European Bathrooms agrees to settlement from Qualitex Supplies

The Patents County Court proceedings for infringement of design right issued by European Bathroom against Qualitex Supplies in October have now been settled. The terms of the settlement are confidential, but the parties have agreed to the following statement being made available to the public:

"European Bathroom Ltd (EBL) and Qualitex Supplies Ltd (Qualitex) have reached agreement over EBL's allegations that Qualitex had infringed its Palermo and Formoso baths and basins in EBL's Clearwater range. Although Qualitex denies liability it has agreed to cease selling the products alleged to infringe once all existing stock has been sold. The terms of the settlement are confidential."
