New 'Building Confidence' gong for C&C Catering Equipment

C&C Catering Equipment has been awarded a new Health & Safety accreditation, Building Confidence. Developed by global procurement service business Achilles, Building Confidence is a supplier pre-qualification and accreditation service for the UK construction industry.

Achilles works to identify, qualify, evaluate, and monitor suppliers on behalf of major organisations worldwide. It is quickly becoming recognised as the standard for supplier excellence within industry.

C&C believe this new accreditation will further promote and support its existing contracts as well as attract new business with other major contractors who are using the service.

C&C Catering Equipment's Managing Director, Peter Kitchin comments: "We have a great collection of industry awards and accreditations. They demonstrate why we're among the best at what we do. The Building Confidence standard is important as it is still rare in our sector and will help us keep at the forefront of our industry."

As keen advocates of continuous improvement and understanding the value of the Building Confidence scheme, C&C completed the rigorous application pre-qualification covering its current systems for Health & Safety, the Environment and Occupational Health. This was then reviewed remotely before an Achilles auditor spent two days within the business carrying out an audit of these systems.

C&C are now included on the tender list of other major companies that are also part of the scheme such as, McLaren, Sir Robert McAlpine, Laing O'Rourke and Balfour Beatty.
