PWS adds oak to its successful Milbourne range

* Milbourne_Oak_SN_Alt_Handle.jpgBuilding on the extremely popular overpainted finishes in the Milbourne range, PWS has introduced a natural oak option. The Milbourne design brings a hint of traditional values to the modern day kitchen with its enduring mix of Shaker styling and appealing finishes.

Following the launch of Milbourne in February 2012, the collection has exceeded all expectations with the timeless colours of chalk, alabaster, almond and sage being well received by retailers and consumers alike. Milbourne Oak has been added to enable consumers to create the increasingly sought after look of mixing painted with timber finishes. Typical of the simple, pure lines of Shaker style, Milbourne can be dressed up or down and whatever the styling, town house or country cottage, the result will fit today's modern lifestyle.

Not only is Milbourne authentic in its visual appeal and feel with its subtle grained and tactile finish but combines these benefits with affordability, proving that achieving the classic look of mixing painted furniture with other materials is more accessible than many consumers may perceive.

"We are delighted with how quickly the market has embraced Milbourne," enthuses Andrew Langford, Marketing Manager at PWS. "As we expected, the collection delivers retailers with an affordably priced yet quality design that offers their customer a credible alternative when a painted timber kitchen is out of their budget range.

"Milbourne satisfies consumer demand for a kitchen design that offers flexibility to suit a range of settings from classic to modern, so it comes as no surprise that it ranks as one of our most popular door designs."

Milbourne includes a host of accessories and features including plate racks and glazed doors as well as curved elements, including a 300mm curved door, cornice, plinth and lighting pelmet to create great design possibilities.

All five finishes are available ex-stock from PWS and as with the majority of PWS doors, Milbourne has achieved Fira Gold status.
