IDS appoints new Key Account Manager for Panel Products

Geoff Coe has joined IDS as Key Account Manager for Panel Products, responsible for the Northern Region. Geoff has vast experience of the construction and furniture sectors, with many years at Marshalls and joining from Norbord - recognised as a specialist in chipboard, MDF and OSB.

Panel Products is one of the largest sections of IDS's portfolio with an offering that is both extensive and dynamic. This year many new product developments are coming through such as LB07 pre-laminated board and compact density fibreboard.

The company offers what it believes is the largest UK stockholding of melamine and wood based panel products serving all aspects of the furniture manufacturing market including kitchen, office, bedroom and educational furniture. With stock on the ground, it offers the benefit of fast and flexible deliveries in 24 - 48 hours from its 12 branches across the UK. This helps customers with production flexibility and not having to tie up working capital because they can order product on a Just In Time basis.

Says Geoff of his new role:
