F & P Wholesale Pro-fressshionals get their kit on for charity

Staff at F & P Wholesale, the UK distributor of heating, plumbing and bathroom products to the independent merchant sector, recently went head-to-head with plumbing and heating merchant, Williams and Co., in a charity football match.

The match took place at Frogmore Leisure Centre in Hampshire where employees from F & P Wholesale's Camberley Distribution Centre - who adopted the team name F & P Pro-fressshionals - took on their counterparts from Williams and Co.

On the full-time whistle, the match finished 6-1 to the F & P Pro-fressshionals. Together the two teams raised more than £700, which is to be divided between two charities - F & P's nominated charity Whizz-Kidz, and NSPCC, which is supported by Williams and Co.

"I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at F & P Wholesale Camberley and Williams and Co who offered their time to get involved with the charity football match," says Andy Cullen, Branch Manager at F & P Wholesale Camberley. "We are so pleased that we were able to raise such a great sum of money and add to our successful fundraising efforts as a business.

"It was great to witness the enthusiasm and passion shown by F & P Wholesale employees and customers alike, who were all involved in the game to raise as much money as possible for two very worthy causes. The match was a great success and we hope that it will become a regular event, so we can involve even more of our customers and continue to fundraise through football."

F & P Wholesale has nine dedicated Distribution Centres located around the UK, in addition to the Connections location, and only sells products directly to merchants and retailers.
