Lakes Bathrooms expands globally
UK Shower enclosure specialist, Lakes Bathrooms, is expanding and seeking strategic relationships with wholesalers and distributors worldwide to act as trade partners for the supply of its Classic and Coastline Collections.
According to the manufacturer, products will be shipped internationally, direct from its production facility in China."With the foundation of our well established business in UK and Eire and our new manufacturing facility in Ningbo, China, we are looking to expand the reach for our products around the world," explains sales & marketing director, Clive Organ.
"Both our Classic and Coastline Collections have proven exceptionally popular and delivered sustained growth for our home market, so we see these as the ideal launch portfolio for the international market."According to Lakes Bathrooms, distributors are promised significant support as part of a trade partnership; from merchandising to marketing support, point of sale materials and technical assistance, they will be assured back-up by the manufacturer.
Partners will have access to a range of promotional materials, plus installation guides translated into each specific language required.All goods will be exported from Lakes Bathroom's new production facility in North East China and sent worldwide by specialist fragile goods shipping contractors.
The total product portfolio available numbers over 40 designs, with hundreds of size and shape variants.Trade partners will be asked to hold stock as Clive confirms: "Commitment is a word that many companies use, but few actually deliver.
Our commitment to trade support can be seen at every level and we are seeking long-term relationships that will see our products stocked around the world. We are confident that demand will be strong and have attracted significant interest from the new trade partnership zone on our website. Indeed, we have already taken an order from the Middle East and are in discussion with potential distributors for Africa and USA."One attraction for those considering shower enclosures, doors and bath screens from Lakes Bathrooms is the standard treatment on both sides of the glass with its unique AllClear stay-clean coating.
This, Clive says, has driven demand in recent years in the UK and the company expects it to prove a winning feature in the international arena.Lakes Bathrooms already has over 2500 stockists in the UK and also welcomes trade enquiries from selected regions of the domestic market. At its headquarters in Gloucestershire, the manufacturer stocks a minimum of eight weeks worth of product to fulfil home market demand, with the fastest moving lines stocked to even higher levels. lt operates a fleet of 16 delivery vehicles and delivers nationwide, promising 24-48 hour delivery across the UK.
