Putting something back into the community: Abode sponsors local football team

Abode has decided this year to sponsor a local football team, in the form of Horbury Athletic Football Club, which has been playing in the Wakefield and District League for many years.

To enable the team to go forward into this season with pride and with a younger generation of youngsters being brought through from local junior teams, Abode has agreed to sponsor the team's new playing kit.

"Horbury Athletic Football Club is a relatively local club to ourselves with connections to our business and where possible, we always try to support locally," explains Helen Clark, Abode Marketing Manager. "We feel that by sponsoring a team of young football players, we will enable them too, to put their all into getting their side into a winning position this season, just as Abode has done in the past by winning many Awards for our products."
