Kitchen & bathroom retailer awarded quality mark for installation excellence

A business based in Peterborough is the first in the area - and only the second in the country, to be awarded a quality mark signifying excellence in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom installation, as part of a furniture industry scheme specifically aimed at independent retailers.

Premier Kitchens & Bedrooms, a specialist fitted kitchen and bedroom company, has been certified to meet the quality targets set by FIRA Gold Installation Certification for Independent Retailers. Premier has showrooms in Peterborough, Bedford, Cambridge, Lincoln, Northampton and Wellingborough.

The certification is awarded by FIRA International, experts in the furniture industry for over 60 years. Already held by many major retailers, FIRA responded to requests from the industry by launching FIRA Gold Installation Certification for Independent Retailers to recognise the quality and achievements by the specialist sector of the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry.

To receive the FIRA Gold Installation certification the company must to go through a rigorous annual audit, ensuring that all staff are working to the highest standards and to agreed industry practices.

FIRA Gold is the only accreditation scheme recognised by the furniture industry and audited by an independent third party.
