Caple: Busy stand with lots of new goodies on show!

* Caple.jpgAward-winning appliance specialist Caple used the show to launch a selection of high performance appliances, which had been kept under wraps until then. The company's PR guru, Homestyle's Sarah Mills, quickly revealed all.

The revelations included the first launch to national retailers, of Caple's Sense Premium collection of white glass and stainless steel appliances - which looked really striking. We were also shown a selection of new appliance concepts, which had never been seen in the UK and which will form part of the Sense Premium collection for 2014.

A nice touch was the presence of Michelin-starred chef, Josh Eggleton, who deftly demonstrated how well the Caple Sense Premium cooking appliances performed as he created a whole host of culinary delights in the cooking arena.

The stand displayed more than 60 appliances, from high performance cooker hoods and hobs to expertly chilled refrigeration and wine cabinets.
One of the items that impressed us was the new Sense Premium ZZ901WH wall chimney hood. In a striking white glass and stainless steel finish, it not only looks state-of-the-art but delivers maximum extraction of 800m3/h with a maximum sound level of 57dB, making it the perfect choice for a stylish, working kitchen.

Said Sarah: "The ZZ901WH hood not only looks incredibly sleek but delivers in every way with high extraction rates and low sound levels, thanks to the signature perimetrical extraction for reduced noise and increased pressure, resulting in improved motor performance."

Users can choose between a handy remote control or full touch controls on the appliance to allocate the speed required with a choice of four levels, and an auto timer will enables users to eliminate odours with a variety of finishing times with 10, 15 and 20 minute intervals after cooking's ceased.
Caple 's new Sense Premium C875i induction hob has a sleek, black glass finish for contemporary styling in a modern kitchen. Reflecting one of the latest trends for split cooking zones, this new induction hob features a bridging function to transform four cooking zones into two large zones, which makes this a versatile cooking platform with an impressive 940cm width.

Each zone features 14 power levels for precision cooking including pastry, keep warm and boil control settings plus a booster and booster+ function, to make cooking a dream. A programmable timer of up to 99 minutes for each zone enables you to set the finish time and a pause function allows you to concentrate on other dishes to ensure everything is ready to serve at the same time.

"It gives you the option to combine four zones into two larger cooking areas, which means you have plenty of room for oversized pans, such as fish kettles, or four cooking areas - you decide," explained Sarah, while organising a member of the stand staff to pose for our photo. "This appliance makes a fantastic feature on an island unit where you can prepare and produce delicious meals as guests gather round."

The hob can be inset or flush-mounted and has an auto-on digital display, slider touch control with direct access, memory recall function, child safety lock, residual heat indicators, automatic safety shut-off, automatic pan detection, anti-overheat and anti-overflow functions.

Also looking good was the new Wi3118WH wine cabinet, now available in white to reflect the trend for futuristic, ice white appliances in kitchens today. This cool, sophisticated, glass finish makes the perfect addition to modern kitchen cabinetry and it's an ideal appliance when space is at a premium.

Perfect for the compact kitchen, you can store a maximum of 19 Bordeaux-style wine bottles within the single temperature zone.

"White appliances are making a big comeback in the kitchen and the Wi3118WH makes the perfect addition to the white glass Sense Premium cooking collection," said Sarah. "This model features our signature no-frost compressor cooling technology to maintain a consistent temperature, which provides perfect storage conditions for your wine."

The Wi3118WH wine cabinet features fan circulated cool air for even temperature distribution and operates at only 41dB, which is ideal for those using their kitchens as a living space for friends and family.
