Kitemarked sinks still flying high

Reiterating the importance it places on quality and longevity, 2014 sees Leisure Sinks highlighting its range of BSI Kitemarked sinks. Models from the Linear, Lexin and Contract ranges, all of which are produced at Leisure Sinks' factory in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, have all been recognised for their high specification and stainless steel construction. Not only is the company the largest manufacturer of domestic stainless steel sinks in the UK, it is also the only one to be awarded the BSI Kitemark.

Audited to the highest manufacturing standards and quality management systems, Leisure Sinks' Linear (LN950 and LN950XS), Lexin (LN95) and Contract (LN105 and LN126) have all been awarded the BSI Kitemark. These sinks are all made from high grade 0.9 gauge stainless steel and sold with a 10-year warranty.

The Kitemark collection demonstrates the company's commitment to producing high class, robust sinks. All models meet the exacting criteria set out by several international standards, including ISO 14001, signifying excellent environmental management systems, and ISO 9001, which recognises fully integrated quality management systems.

The Kitemark can trace its history back to 1903 where the need to indicate to buyers that goods were 'up to standard' led to the creation of the British Standard Mark. It is the world's best known product and service certification mark, commanding respect from consumers, businesses and procurement practices.
