Snowdonia Slateman is scene of next step in Croydex's fundraising campaign

Croydex Export Sales Manager, Jason Newman is swapping marathon running for a triathlon challenge as the bathroom accessories specialist continues its fundraising campaign for WaterAid.

Jason - who was part of Croydex's Brighton Marathon team - is participating in the Slateman Triathlon on May 18th.

This gruelling race, which takes place on the challenging terrain of the Snowdonian countryside, requires him to complete a 1000m swim along Llyn Padarn, a 51km road cycle and finally an 11km trail run through the Dinorwig Slate Quarries and Padarn Country Park.

"Team Croydex has raised £7,000 for WaterAid so far and I really want to build on this with the Slateman Triathlon," says Jason. "I am looking forward to visiting such a beautiful setting and doing my part for a great cause."

Croydex is committed to raising £15,000 for WaterAid and our image shows the company's fundraising efforts during kbb Birmingham last month - David is in the middle of the shot. The charity is dedicated to improving access to safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities.
