New Wirquin product to be launched at PHEX
Wirquin will be featuring at the plumbing & heating exhibitions PHEX Manchester (15th & 16th October) and Chelsea (12th & 13th November) three of its latest flagship products: the Chrono self-supporting WC frame, Slim shower trap and the Macdee Motion dual flush siphon.
The new Chrono frame will be launched at the Manchester show. Already a market leader in France, it is set to be a huge success in the UK as wall hung frames grow in popularity in bathroom design.
This self-supporting frame can be installed single-handedly with up to a 50% time saving, thanks to its innovative automatic pan connection system, a pre-installed double-skinned cistern, simple height adjustability, and push plate system with automatic adjustment for mounting on a variety of wall thicknesses.
Trend watching plumbers will be aware of the current market trend for wetrooms and low-level shower trays. They will also know that each installation project is different and not always straightforward. The Slim shower waste is thought to be the most compact on the market at only 60mm deep - making it a great problem solver for low-level shower trays that standard wastes can't fit under. Its top accessible water seal trap or waterless membrane provides a fast flow rate (34 l/min) and easy cleaning.
The award-winning Macdee Motion is, says Wirquin, the only universal dual flush siphon a plumber will ever need. Innovatively designed, it is height adjustable from 7 1/2" to 10 1/2", has the most compact bell housing on the market and a large selection of flush volume settings allowing the end user to save water. It has a robust flapper type system that replaces the traditional diaphragm washer to give it a 10-year guarantee.
