British Ceramic Tile brings European style to floors with the launch of its new Fabulous collection
Floor tiles continue to be an emerging trend in the home. Patterned, plain, classic and contemporary; the choice of floor tile designs and materials continues to grow unabated.
To tap into this trend and strengthen its portfolio of floor tiles even further, British Ceramic Tile has launched Fabulous Floors; a high-end range of specially-selected Italian and Spanish porcelain.
This stunning new collection features three luxurious new ranges: Splendid; Sumptuous and Sublime. Each range offers its own distinctive, high-end look yet is characterised by its durability, making it well suited to floors inside and out.
With its subtle linear effect and high gloss finish, the Sublime collection blends a natural colour palette with large format tiles for a truly modern floor covering. Available in 60 x 60cm size in Grey, Beige, Truffle and White.
Wood-effect floor tiles have found a place in the home, proving to be a popular alternative to real timber, and with the Splendid collection consumers can marry the look of natural wood with the benefits of a porcelain tile. Each wood-effect plank comes in 120 x 20cm size in Oak, Ash and Walnut. For added authenticity, each porcelain tile features an individual wood grain pattern and has a raised texture giving it a realistic, tactile quality.
Contemporary in look and feel, Sumptuous features several shade and size combinations to enable consumers to define areas and create different zone effects with their flooring. Available in three shades, Grey, Light, Medium and Dark, Sumptuous comes in three sizes: 60 x 60cm, 30 x 60cm and 75 x 75cm.
"Porcelain is fast becoming a key player in the UK market," notes Jayne Adamson, senior product manager at British Ceramic Tile. "We wanted to tap into this trend, and help consumers bring a contemporary and sophisticated look to the home with the launch of Fabulous.
"Consumers are starting to use tiles much more frequently in their living areas, not just the kitchen and bathroom, and are looking for hard-wearing premium products that can carry through from one room to the next. Large format porcelain floor tiles are central to the look, adding a contemporary, sophisticated feel. Plus, the added benefit for retailers is that this collection can be used in different areas of the home, as well as outdoors, providing multiple sales opportunities."
The Fabulous Floors collection is available to order now and is supported by a new brochure, display stand and POS, all with the same high-end luxury feel.
From its world-class factory at Heathfield in Devon, British Ceramic Tile produces a design-led, market-leading portfolio of wall and floor tiles, supplying to national and independent tile retailers, housebuilders and specifiers, as well as exporting overseas.
