Franke Water Systems raises valuable funds for Cancer charities

* Franke-top-of-mountain.jpgFranke Sissons' (aka Franke Water Systems) senior management team has successfully summited Mount Snowden to raise money for three important cancer charities including Chesterfield's own Ashgate Hospice.

The team shown here, (from right) Victoria Himsworth, Joanne Meadows, managing director Andy Dukelow, Mark Wilson and Andy Martin, also happen to have three nasty knee injuries between them - making the climb even more arduous.

Smashing their initial target of £3,000 and ending up raising £3,500, the intrepid climbers approached friends, family, colleagues, customers and suppliers in a bid to raise valuable funds for Ashgate Hospice, Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.

"People don't realise Snowden is our highest peak outside Scotland - it's far more taxing than you imagine," reports Andrew Dukelow. "Thanks to all our supporters for donating. The funds are to be split equally between the charities."
