Matrix - exciting new pantry display
Matrix, the bespoke kitchen designer, is proud to unveil the recent installation of a stunning new kitchen display in the Knightsbridge showroom.
The dramatic pantry display shows Graham Barnards' flair for design and knowledge of the latest finishes to the best effect.
The furniture doors in the pantry are finished in a satin anthracite with rich chocolate bronze handles. The doors are capped in 20mm brushed steel with a soft pencil round front edge. Each door is on a push latch so that there are no handles, giving a sleek and modern look.
The walls are clad in brick tiles from Matrix's own range and a dark grey grout has been used, which has been wiped over the tiles, to bring out the crackle of the glaze.
The open storage shelves are in walnut and the walls are finished in grey mirror. The use of grey mirror makes the space feel more intimate yet substantial without the clear reflective regular mirror, which can be intimidating if repeated on opposing walls or doors.
Graham Barnard has been in the kitchen design industry for over 20 years and Matrix Kitchens is owned and run by Graham and Susan Barnard. The pair opened the Knightsbridge showroom, which is in Thurloe Place, 13 years ago. Matrix works in close partnership with key appliance suppliers Gaggenau, Wolf, Miele and Sub-zero.
