Matt Rotherham takes the helm at J. Rotherham

J. Rotherham, one of the oldest and most respected stone masonry companies in the UK and one with an enviable reputation for its solid stone countertops, tells us it is proud to announce that the fourth generation of the Rotherham family is taking the helm as managing director.

This appointment will see Matt develop his role from commercial director to top management, using his new responsibilities to develop the company's design, manufacturing and customer service resources.

Joe Rotherham, former managing director, will take a step back from the day-to-day running of the business but will continue on the Board of Directors, sharing the 40+ years' experience he has in the trade, as well as overseeing the various building projects the company is undertaking as part of its expansion programme.

Joe adds: "To stay successful, you need people who want to push the boundaries forward and it is these individuals, such as Matt, who need to operate at the very top level."
