iKBBI unveils new major sponsor
The Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installers has today unveiled Currys PC World as its latest sponsor, adding to an impressive portfolio of Great British and international brands supporting the aims and objectives of the government sanctioned organisation.
The three-year-deal will deliver significant benefit to iKBBI members, including dedicated business advisors in store and on the phone, together with access to a huge range competitively priced white goods.
Additionally, and in line with the iKBBI's initiative to support its members to develop a credible online presence, the sponsorship will provide members with IT products and specialist in store advice and support from their 'technical Knowhow team'.
"We're absolutely thrilled to have attracted yet another world-class brand to support our mission and I'm confident that Currys PC World arrival will bring yet another great benefit to our members and of course the customers they serve," said iKBBI CEO Damian Walters.
"The sponsorship will assist those members who operate in the B2C private sector in particular, with the ability to offer their customers a wide range of kitchen appliances, strengthening their own proposition and USP within this fiercely competitive marketplace. Additionally, it will help our members to select and use the right technical hardware to enable them to operate an efficient and modern service."
Currys PC World's Head of White Goods Marketing Zeena Hill, pictured with iKBBI CEO Damian Walters said: "We are delighted with our agreed collaboration with the iKBBI as it gives us access to a highly targeted and strategically important audience who we can genuinely help on a day to day basis whilst helping to improve their business and customer product choice.
"We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship, offering an extensive range of products and services. Our goal is to support iKBBI members in giving them access to thousands of products with business account benefits and to help their customers find the right appliances for them."
Currys PC World is part of Dixons Carphone, Europe's largest specialist electrical and telecommunications retailer and services company, which employs over 40,000 people in 14 countries, and sells over £10 billion worth of products and services every year, online and in some 3,000 stores.
