Haier appoints Vincent Rotger as general manager for Northern and Eastern Europe
Appliance manufacturer Haier, has strengthened the organisational structure of Haier Europe with the appointment of Vincent Rotger (pictured) as general manager for the Northern and Eastern Europe regions.
Vincent is responsible for P&L management of four Haier Europe subsidiaries, in the UK & Ireland, German, Benelux and Polish markets, in addition to business development in other Eastern European countries where Haier is active.
The Haier UK & Ireland subsidiary operates at the company's offices in Ealing, London. Objectives in the UK & Ireland market are to increase brand awareness and market share, with the overall aim of becoming one of the top five manufacturers of household electrical goods in Europe.
Vincent's appointment follows a successful 19-year spell at Whirlpool, during which he most recently acted as business unit director for Whirlpool France. Having joined the company in 1996, he rose through the ranks to hold senior positions in its EMEA structure. He has a strong international background and gained a reputation for his excellent industrial knowledge, as well as his leadership and management skills.
