EQ announces Betta Living deal
Formed in 1966, Betta Living has enjoyed astonishing growth in recent years with 2010 seeing a sales increase of 46% and employees topping the 300 mark. Further expansion plans include new machinery to manufacture more products, plus the opening of a 20th showroom.
Key to the organisation's sustained growth is the announcement that it will be introducing EQ's KBB market business management software into 25 sites. Well over 100 staff will use the system - predominantly in the marketing, installation and aftercare departments.
"Our motivation for this investment is to standardise and replace the many in-house systems, which have been developed over the years through acquisition of other companies," explains Betta Living's Marketing Director, Barry Rourke.
"We decided it was now or never, but the decision to invest in EQ Software was an easy one to make. The system is easy to use and will help us to achieve our goals of increased efficiency, releasing staff from mundane tasks to concentrate on delivering our outstanding customer service."
The announcement demonstrates that EQ Software has the product, service and implementation capability to satisfy the complex demands of modern day multiple retailers.
EQ Managing Director Leigh Martin adds: "We will continue to develop our product portfolio to ensure customers can take full advantage of the opportunities this technology is capable of delivering."
