Ripples heads to Switzerland with Laufen

Award winning bathroom retailer Ripples headed to Switzerland recently with one of the world's leading bathroom manufacturers, Laufen, whose headquarters are in Laufen near Basel in Switzerland.

Laufen's Jamie Welch (regional sales manager) and Richard Court (national training manager) led the group. Those attending from Ripples included managing director Paul Crow, sales manager Nicola Crow and marketing manager Grazziella Pinto, plus five of the top performing sales designers at Ripples.

The trip included a full day's tour of the Laufen ceramic and brassware factories, led by international training manager Erik Holznienkemper, a look around the impressive Laufen showroom and a chance to gets 'hands-on' with the manufacturing process.

Neil Curtis (senior designer at Ripples) remarks: "I, personally found the craftsmanship that goes into the ceramic and brassware production fascinating. The tours were really interesting and provided a valuable source of information. The visit to Laufen has allowed me to develop my understanding of the brand".
