TLW | The Lightworks cuts UK prices to counter Brexit concerns

In the wake of the perceived Brexit fallout where companies have used the upcoming EU exit as an excuse to raise their prices, innovative lighting distributor TLW | The Lightworks has taken a different and significant approach by reducing prices for a number of its core products for at least the next six months.

Up to 20% has been slashed off the company's popular LED cabinet lighting and associated kits, while TLW's popular LED tape and 12v drivers have also seen their prices cut by around 15% to help retailers keep their prices down in the aftermath of June's shock EU vote.

"This is largely an unprecedented move by ourselves following the doom and gloom of Brexit," says Roy Hughes, director of TLW | The Lightworks.

"We have closely monitored the situation over the last few months and we felt it was time someone injected a bit of good news in to the KBB industry."

Now in its 20th year of business, TLW | The Lightworks is a leading supplier of innovative LED lighting solutions which are sourced from around the world and distributed to the trade. The family owned company gives specific attention to the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom areas but almost any lighting product can be competitively sourced.

"If we listen to certain parts of the media then the outlook for the British economy looks unstable and quite frankly miserable," quips Roy.

"The message from my company remains the same but with a more firm voice - let's keep calmer and still carry on!"
