New Polypipe Ventilation catalogue makes specifcation easy
Polypipe Ventilation's new catalogue details its full range of energy-saving domestic and light commercial ventilation systems. This is the first catalogue from the company to incorporate not only Polypipe and Domus product offerings but also the Silavent range of fans acquired by the group last year.
So much more than just a product guide, the new catalogue provides customers
with simple to use navigation tools for complete ventilation system specification.
The Ventilation System Selector page presents customers with the opportunity to select which system strategy most suits the needs of a specific dwelling, from basic intermittent extract ventilation through to whole house MVHR systems. Once selected, the catalogue quickly and simply navigates you straight through to the most appropriate appliance. From here, the customer is steered through to the duct selection page to choose the most suitable duct system based on the chosen appliance and household requirements. Such a layout makes for quick, hassle free system and individual product selection without the need to wade through pages of information and product.
In addition to systems and product, the catalogue covers the company's comprehensive range of support services, including its VSPweb On-line Planning tool to select both the correct duct package and the most suitable HR appliance for a property, and its training provisions. The latter includes the recently launched Ventilation Installer Training course written by Polypipe in response to changes to Building Regulations Part F, Ventilation.
The course, run by training company BPEC, combines theoretical training and practical exercises to provide delegates with the information and skills to install any of the common types of domestic ventilation systems in the UK. It also covers the inspection, test and commissioning of these systems as well as the provision of client
operation and maintenance information.
The Polypipe range now features what the company believes is the widest selection of plastic ventilation products in Europe, including MVHR units, fans and an extensive range of ducting, fittings and outlets to ensure installations benefit from the quickest ducting route with the greatest ease and efficiency. With an ever increasing emphasis on whole house ventilation systems for energy efficiency, and the need for guaranteed performance across those systems, specifying these products for an efficient ventilation system requires considerable knowledge and skill. The new catalogue provides that skill set in a comprehensive and easy to use format for reliable results.
