Methven appoints UK head of marketing
Methven, global designer and manufacturer of premium showers and tapware, has appointed its first UK head of marketing as it strives to cement its place within the UK and European market.
Simon Cornelius joins Methven having worked previously in senior marketing roles at Aqualisa, where he was instrumental in the launch of the UK's first smart shower.
With a wealth of experience as a design engineer working for Dyson, Aqualisa and Renishaw, plus as senior product manager and acting head of marketing at Aqualisa, he brings with him a unique skill set which allows him to bridge the gap between technical design knowledge and marketing.
Simon takes up his new role at an exciting time for Methven as the company strengthens its UK distribution network, continues to expand into Europe and prepares to launch further innovative new products.
"Having worked for large innovative B2B and B2C companies and with a proven record of bringing products to market, I am looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead at Methven," says Simon.
"Methven already has some amazing products on the market - I believe the Aurajet technology in particular is a game changer - and my ambition is to grow the Methven and Deva brands in the UK, by continuing to launch innovative shower systems and brassware ranges that change the way consumers think about showering and bathing."
