Leisure Sinks for 200 new kitchens near London's best local park

* Leisure-Sinks-Victoria-Park.jpgSome 200 inset stainless steel sinks from Leisure Sinks Lexin range are being installed at the Victoria Park Estate in Hackney, London, which is owned by Guinness South, part of the Guinness Partnership.

The estate backs onto Victoria Park - voted by readers of Time Out magazine as 'London's Best Local Park' and comprises flats, three-storey townhouses and sheltered accommodation. All the kitchens and bathrooms at the estate are being replaced, along with an electrical upgrade.* Victoria-Park.jpg

The Guinness Partnership is carrying out an ongoing multi-million pound property maintenance programme and these new kitchens form part of Guinness South's Decent Homes refurbishment of the estate. Lexin LN95 sinks were specified by Guinness South for this development and others across London. The contractor for the refurbishment is Breyer Group and the project manager and M&E Consultants/Engineer is Peter Neubauer Associates.

"It's really important that in these kinds of refurbishments tenants are left with good quality kitchens and bathrooms," says Guinness South's project manager, Peter Neubauer. "We always choose products that are well made, durable and built to last - that's why we chose Leisure Sinks. Plus the Lexin sinks have the BSI Kite Mark which gives added reassurance.

"And in these difficult economic times, it's good to be able to support the UK manufacturing industry by specifying British made products."

With a long and proud heritage in top quality manufacturing, Leisure Sinks says it was the first sink manufacturer in the UK to be awarded the BSI Kitemark. The collection now comprises six models including the Lexin LN95.

Available in both left and right handed versions, the Lexin sink measures 950mm x 508mm, has two tap holes and comes in a bright finish. It is made from 0.9mm gauge 18/10 stainless steel with a rigid frame construction - meaning the sink won't bend or flex under pressure. Its bowl size is 420mm x 350mm x 180mm, and there are a variety of taps available to make specification simple.

Guinness South is a member of The Guinness Partnership which owns and manages 60,000 homes across the country. The Partnership has 121,000 residents and customers in 191 local authorities in England and is committed to making a difference to people's lives.
