A marriage of form and function: new extractor hoods from Blanco by Gutmann

* Blanco-Visual.jpgStrikingly attractive, with an entirely new way of extracting moisture and unwanted odours, the latest hood from the Blanco by Gutmann range, genuinely offers something new to homeowners looking for the ultimate in extraction technology.

The Visual hood is an elegant chimney style design with filters designed as delicate cutwork panels. The hood uses an ingenious internal frame extraction system, which draws in smells and moisture from both top and bottom, and boasts an extraction rate of 1200m3/second using an internal motor - and an even higher rate with an external motor. It's available in a variety of sizes in wall-mounted or island options and features halogen lighting and a choice of motors.

* Blanco-Capa.jpgAlso new to the Gutmann range for 2011 is the high style Capa ceiling hood (right). With a depth of just 14cm, it is designed to be smart but unobtrusive - perfect in a kitchen space which is also used for living and eating. The CAPA is also the first ceiling mounted hood in the world to offer an integrated recirculation function - ideal in situations where ducting isn't an option.
