Amica launches brand new built-in catalogue

* Amica.jpgAmica has launched a shiny new catalogue, which showcases its revitalised line-up of built-in ovens, hobs, hoods, microwaves, dishwashers and refrigeration appliances for the UK and Ireland in 2012.

Amica's brand new built-in catalogue bucks the A4 trend at a user-friendly 18 x 18cm and contains stand-out high-gloss product imagery as well as specifications, dimensions and feature explanations; all packed into an easy-to-read format on 46 neat little pages.

In the first few pages are details of product features... In cooking, Amica's personalise-able i-Cook Timer with intuitive display, Aqualytic self-clean function and pre-set and steam recipe programmes of its ovens along with the Stop and Go, heat preservation, slider controls and booster functions of its induction hobs; the low-consuming OptiGas system of its gas hobs; the residual heat indicators, child lock and automatic cooking functions of its ceramic hobs; and silent service hoods with LED lighting and fingerprint-free coating.

The refrigeration pages highlight the low energy consumption, antibacterial properties, No Frost and other features of its brand new range of built-in fridges and freezers. The dishwashing pages explain the quiet efficiency, Express 60 programme and Aqua Stop system among other functions and the microwave pages detail features including multi-phase heating and shortened heating and defrosting times to preserve nutrition and taste.

Amica's attractive Platinum collection - of ovens, including the popular combination steam model, hoods, microwaves and dishwashers - features heavily in the catalogue, which also launches a brand new range of Scandium and Classic multi-function, semi multi-function and conventional ovens.

Amica's revitalised hob offering provides a fresh choice in gas and electric. All gas hobs, including a new 79cm model, come equipped with Amica's OptiGas efficiency system and a brand new design of cast iron pan supports while there is now an electric choice of white as well as stainless steel with side controls. Amica's smooth regulating Touch Slider controls are now standard on two of its easy-clean ceramic models as well as double and triple heating zones, and the ever popular Inari induction hob remains leader of the extended choice of high-speed induction models.

There is now a wider range of Amica extractors and chimney hoods, and the new catalogue introduces for the first time a collection of built-in Amica refrigeration appliances to the UK and Ireland.

The choice of built-in cooling extends from built-under larder fridge and freezer models, through a selection of 50:50 and 70:30 combination appliances to a matching pair of 54cm integrated upright models to store plenty of fresh and frozen foods - a larder fridge with two salad crispers, five shelves, a wine rack and capacity of 319 litres/ 11.2 cubic feet; and an upright freezer with nine drawers, temperature alarm, fast freeze function and a total capacity of 228 litres/ 8.1 cubic feet.

The catalogue ends with schematic product diagrams with dimensions and an insight into Amica's impeccable environmental credentials.

Simon Freear, country manager for Amica in the UK and Ireland, says: "We're delighted to have launched a brand new catalogue specifically for our built-in appliances and we're especially thrilled to introduce a built-in cooling range to the UK and Ireland, which offers a choice of eight models, all with an A+ energy rating at a very reasonable price."

All Amica products come with a full two year guarantee for parts and labour, and are available from independent electrical retailers throughout the UK and Ireland.
