We tried several times to speak to people on Showerwall's stand, to get the background to the major design update the company had made to its range of waterproof wallpanels, which it unveiled at the show.
The launch was obviously making an impact as the stand representatives were always tied up with potential customers (a successful show for Showerwall too then) so we had a good look around by ourselves...
There are 10 new colours in the waterproof wallpanelling offering, boosting the range's design palette to 33 laminates overall with one design, Brown Marble, being discontinued. The new colours clearly respond to the ongoing popularity with consumers for natural materials in stone, marble and metallics, which balance up-to-the-minute styling with commercial versatility.
Reflecting the design appeal of marbles with consumers, there is Mocca Marble (light brown) Bianco Carrera (white), Nero Marble (black) and Zamora Marble in a modish grey tone. Richly coloured stone-based designs include Saffron Stone in black cut through with burnt orange and Mineral Oxide in deep blue and green mirroring the effect of oil on water. Soothing neutrals come in the form of Moondust, a soft grey shade with hints of delicate pink and the trio of unique Shimmer designs in Almond, Stone and Bianco where the innovative surface texture gives the laminate a translucent wet look. All of the other new designs are available in high gloss texture, the brand's best selling finish.
Retailers can benefit from a newly upgraded POS package featuring new photography, a lifestyle product brochure, swatches and display stand graphics.
A brand new Premier Dealer stand was also launched at the show, offering retailers the opportunity of signing up to Premier Dealer status. This gives them the benefits of becoming a Showroom of Showerwall Excellence; installer training; exclusive showroom promotions; the option of bespoke digital printed panels plus a binder of exclusive designs and textures over and above the standard 33-strong offer.
Visitors to the stand also had a chance to enter a free prize draw to win a smart new iPad2, while there were also daily promotions for free display stands and free Showerwall panels to qualifying retailers.
With so much on offer, no wonder the stand was always busy then...
Showerwall provides a high performance and easy installation decorative solution for shower enclosures, bath surrounds and wallpanelling and is guaranteed for 15 years. Showerwall panels are available in either square cut or tongue & groove panels 2400mm high. The company has said in the past that its research has shown that the shower panelling market is growing eight times faster than tiles and that its new Showerwall brand is going to grab much more of that growing market. Over the last two years the company has focussed on building the trust and confidence with retailers in the brand, going up against more established competitors, and having done that it's kicking up to the next level with an impressive choice of designs and POS package that will give retailers a distinctive edge.
It also offers the service of next day delivery which it believes that no other brand in the industry can match.
