Renowned furniture manufacturer Symphony took the opportunity to talk to people about the changes to its retail offer with the launch of a major new support package.
Bringing together an entirely fresh approach for retail and an exciting new era for the business, 'New Perspectives' is Symphony's most comprehensive support package for KBB retailers to date, designed to help them attract more customers, win more orders and significantly increase their sales margins.
Having listened closely to retailers' requirements, the company said that New Perspectives will deliver a number of benefits and incentives covering six key areas of support:
* Fresh inspirational designs for kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms products
* Display assistance
* Tailored ordering and delivery packages
* Marketing and promotion support
* Exclusive sales territories
Independent retail partners will be able to select and individually tailor those brands and elements of New Perspectives to develop their own businesses.
"New Perspectives is a huge milestone for us," revealed Martyn Davis, Group Managing Director. "We've spent the last few years transforming our marketing, product range, manufacturing capability and service delivery so that we can respond to independent retailers better than ever before. This means that our retail offer is now the strongest it's ever been, and we can deliver a real point of difference in terms of our competitors. Malcolm Brandwood of QKS in Stamford was one of the first retailers to be introduced to the new package. He commented: "Symphony approached me at an opportune time when I was looking for a kitchen supplier who would work with me as an equal trusted partner and develop my business for the future.
"Symphony's New Perspectives approach has been first class in every aspect - from product, marketing support right through to display installation, delivery and most importantly a quality finished product and satisfied customers... This is the latest initiative from Symphony in its strategy to significantly increase its customer base of independent retailers. Most recently, the company committed to a major price promotion in a bid to help retailers battle the recession, with over 50% off its Gallery premium range of kitchens. Last year also saw the launch of a six-figure investment in a state-of-the-art marketing suite at its Barnsley HQ, designed to showcase its wide range of kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms to potential retail customers.
Symphony's independent retail base already consists of over 500 dealers selling its Gallery and Milano kitchen brands, Embrace bedroom brand and Aquadi bathroom brand.
