Sleek and efficient by design; the new Aquaflux Aqanomic
The new Aquaflux Aquanomic tap from Leisure Sinks effortlessly combines ultimate elegance with convenience and practicality. Manufactured from robustly engineered chrome plated brass, it features a high quality design, with easy to use levers, ensuring a sleek and reliable tap to suit a variety of sink and kitchen styles.
Designed by Leisure Sinks to meet the highest levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes, the new Aquaflux Aquanomic (TFL1CM/-AN) kitchen tap has factory fitted flow restrictors, developed using a water usage calculator, to maintain a maximum flow rate of 3.8 litres per minute and meet the stringent water use levels in the Code. Operating at a minimum pressure of 2.0 bar, it features a quarter turn lever action for precise flow control as well as an anti-splash spout supplied as standard.
For ease of installation, the tap measures 355mm high, with a recommended fixing hole of 35mm, proving suitable for surfaces up to 30mm deep. It is straightforward to install, so no additional time will be required for installation, but trade customers will have complete peace of mind, knowing they are complying with the Code. Plus, to underpin its quality the new tap is supplied with a two year guarantee.
"We know that specifiers and contractors are focussed on meeting the requirements of the Code, but we are also aware that everyone's budgets are tight at the moment and that's why we are working hard to deliver robust and compliant taps at affordable prices," explains Simon Johnson, Trade Sales Director at Leisure Sinks.
"Combining engineering excellence with ease of installation, we are confident that the Aquaflux Aquanomic will prove a popular choice for anyone requiring strong and resilient taps for new builds, or as part of a retro-fit project."
The Aquanomic range of taps comprises a selection of styles and types including: Aquanomic Pillar Taps (TPT1CM/-AN), the Aquanomic Aquadisc 2 (TAD2CM/-AN), the Aquanomic Deckmixer (TDM1CM/-AN) and the Aquanomic Aquaflow (TAF1CM/-AN).
The Aquaflux tap (TFL1CM/) is also available as a regular dual lever monobloc model, without the flow restrictor, in chrome and is designed to deliver a minimum pressure of 0.3 bar and a maximum pressure of 5.0 bar.
