Revealed: the biggest secret In the bathroom industry

Bathrooms-Group-Jersey.jpgBathroom Brands has just revealed that it is the biggest bathroom company that no one has heard of!

Bathroom Brands Group, in its current form, dates from 2011, when CEO Patrick Riley brought together the European Bathroom business and the Crosswater Group.  Last Wednesday, in Jersey, the Channel Islands., the Group - notably the third largest selling bathroom and shower products in the UK - unveiled its newly built head office and conference facilities at the marina in St Helier and announced a new member of the team.

Bathroom Brands currently operates businesses around the world specialising in the design and sourcing of innovative products for its customers in distribution, retail and manufacture.   As part of its plans, the company has recruited, Roger Cooper, the former CEO of Ideal Standard Bathrooms, to its board of directors.

“Bathroom Brands is one of the largest bathroom companies but very few know the name,” admitted Roger.  “Becoming involved as Bathroom Brands comes of age and begins to build its consumer and trade awareness is exciting – the opportunities for this business are tremendous.”

Challenging global trading conditions have formed the backdrop of Bathroom Brands’ progressive business that has secured continued and impressive growth since 2004.  Its well-developed approach to procurement, production, and supply coupled with the Group’s robust partnerships with its suppliers, delivers an unfailing supply chain of reliable and low cost products that reach the market on time and in full.

The Bathroom Brands board, which plans to list the company on a leading stock exchange within the next three years, comprises long-standing Chairman, Clive Chaplin, who has been with the Group since its inception, CEO Patrick Riley and Tim Powell as founding directors alongside financial director Dawn Crichard and Roger Cooper as non-executive director.

The Crosswater Group, headed by Chairman David Hance, trades under three brands; Simpsons Shower Enclosures and Bauhaus Bathroom furniture as well as Crosswater.  Crosswater highlighted its success in the UK with a stunning presence at this year’s KBB exhibition in Birmingham.  Crosswater has recently joined the Bathroom Manufacturers Association and submitted key brassware ranges for the water-efficiency labelling scheme.  Each brand directly supplies showrooms and merchants and creates demand through architects, specifiers and the consumer.

The European Bathroom Group comprises Britton Bathrooms - a new brand offering a complete-bathroom concept of contemporary suites and furniture, Burlington Bathrooms - a collection period-styled bathrooms that incorporate the best design with modern technology,  the Clearwater range of freestanding baths and the Zamori range of high quality shower trays.  European Bathroom Group is launching a new concept to the market – ClearGreen: a complete range of very rigid recyclable baths, with the AquaCabinet range to launch later this year.

Patrick Riley, CEO for Bathroom Brands explains

“We have built a modern business capable of extraordinary growth.  Bathroom Brands is successful because of an instinctive empathy for all the social, political and commercial cultures.  Bathroom Brands identifies gaps, creates new markets, improves existing norms and delivers all this on time, on budget and in one piece.

“Roger’s appointment strengthens a compelling team as he brings with him over 40 years of the best of bathroom business.”
