Smart Systems' free online sales enquiry, quoting & ordering facility is seriously faster!
Due to the increasing uptake by retailers creating the need for larger storage facilities, KBBConnect, by Smart Systems, has now upgraded to a more advanced Cloud hosting service provider. In addition to significantly increasing individual storage capacity, add yet further layers of security and give even greater reliability, it can also provide Internet connection speeds up to 50 times faster.
"KBBConnect now offers the same high level of internet processing service normally associated with online banking," says Charles Kovacik MD Smart Systems. "We chose this particular provider after extensive due diligence and with the aim of providing our customers with the best there is with regards to minimizing processing interruptions."
Statistically the provider boasts an impressive 99.9% level of service. This translates to the remarkable fact that working a 40 hour week, one person would potentially risk only lose a mere 2.4 minutes of access to KBBConnect!
What is Cloud Hosting? Charles Kovacik explains: "Very simply, a cloud hosting environment ensures that the data is mirrored across literally hundreds of servers. This provides the greater storage capacity and in the event of one server within the cluster failing, there will be other servers available to take up the role of the ailing server. The Data centre itself is serviced by multiple power suppliers; should one fail another kicks in ensuring continuity of service.
"Hosting companies live or die by the reputation of their security arrangements and have multiple layers in place to prevent illegal access. More and more experts now agree that data protection in the cloud is equal to if not greater than most on-premise IT solutions with the typical server under the desk!
"We see this move as a significant step in radically enhancing the service to our customers and giving them even more peace of mind on the security of their data."
Smart Systems is planning further announcements during the Summer, expanding the KBBConnect range of facilities. This will include a local back up feature at the user's facility countering any concerns of not being able to access one's own data for manipulation outside of the cloud environment.
