British Ceramic Tile launches The Colour Compendium
British Ceramic Tile has launched its most extensive collection of coloured ceramic wall tiles to date with the introduction of The Colour Compendium.
Designed and made right here in the UK, this new collection is a complete range of coloured ceramic wall tiles in gloss, satin and textured finishes. Available in a versatile 148 x 148mm size, in over 60 on trend colours, these high quality tiles have premium glazes and a durable white body, with a shade to suit every tiling project.
There are 46 gloss and 20 satin colours to choose from, with each colour also complemented by a scored option enabling a mosaic effect to be created - helping to keep installation costs to a minimum.
Sheila Elliott, Creative Director at British Ceramic Tile, says: "The latest colour trends in interior design have been a key influence in the creation of this collection, allowing us to provide customers with a rainbow of shades that are very much of the moment, yet we have still taken into consideration more traditional and conservative tastes.
"There is a huge choice of colours from bold, zingy brights and fashion shades of teal, cobalt blue and aubergine through to a selection of soft pastels and neutrals. The additional choice of nine textured tiles means that The Colour Compendium collection has truly covered the full spectrum giving both designers and consumers lots of creative flexibility."
With 2012 set to be a big year for all things British, British Ceramic Tile's latest offering couldn't have come at a better time, as Sheila explains:
"British design is at the heart of what we do and has been since the very first foundations of the company back in the 1890's. We use our wonderful British landscape as a continuous source of inspiration when creating each new range, adding value through British design, quality, value and a serious approach to social and environmental responsibilities.
"The Colour Compendium is very much a celebration of our strong British ethos, providing our contract and independent customers with an extensive range of colours that suit both commercial and consumer tastes, with the added bonus that their choice of wall tile has been designed and made right here in Britain - something many designers and homeowners have increasingly been considering in their purchasing decisions this year."
British Ceramic Tile will launch the Colour Compendium to the trade this Spring, supported by a lifestyle brochure, dedicated media relations campaign and point of sale material.
