A new year and a key appointment at Kaldewei

Kaldewei, renowned throughout Europe for its baths, has announced the arrival of Marc Nation to the new role of UK Sales Manager. This significant step provides a dedicated sales focus at senior level within Kaldewei with a key responsibility for management of the nationwide sales team; this includes Kaldewei's own expanding team of sales representatives and the incumbent regional sales agents.

Marc joins Kaldewei from Crown Paints where his sales record is exemplary; a major achievement being taking on management of the worse performing sales region in the country and elevating it to the top of the table within just nine months. Throughout his varied career within the building trade market, Marc has gained valuable insights from roles which include training as a painter and decorator, running a multi-site builders merchant, being responsible for training and even running his own contractor business.

"Kaldewei has a fantastic range of products and I look forward to steering the sales team towards achieving the first class results that the products deserve," he says.

Martin Russell, Kaldewei UK Managing Director, worked with Marc at Akzo Nobel and comments: "At Kaldewei we are working hard for our customers, improving service and offering targeted marketing initiatives, so beginning to create the right environment to significantly increase market share of our 3.5mm steel enamel product portfolio. Marc will be spearheading this effort and I am confident that as a driven individual capable of rising to any challenge, he will deliver."
