Crosswater announce key national sales drivers

* Crosswater3.jpgContemporary brassware, shower enclosure, bathroom furniture and ceramics specialist Crosswater, has appointed Mark Dalton and internally recruited Stuart Telfer as Joint National Sales Managers. Stuart and Mark will both report directly to founder and Managing Director David Hance.

Despite the economic climate, the Crosswater Group has enjoyed considerable growth across all three of its major brands, with Adora the merchant sector brassware brand also trading well year on year. Marten Baker, Commercial Manager of Bauhaus says the continued investment made by the board enables the company to create new, innovative product and marketing ideas; bringing them to market and holding them in stock.

Mark Dalton brings over 20 years of experience and knowledge to his new position, most notably from his most recent sales & marketing management roles at Grohe. Mark will be responsible for covering the South, South West, South East and London areas.

Having held a number of sales positions in the bathroom industry, Stuart Telfer joined Crosswater in 2009 as an area manager. As Joint National Sales Manager, he will cover Scotland, the North and the Midlands.

Commenting on his appointment, Stuart says:

"I am very excited about my new role as Joint National Sales Manager and would like to thank David Hance for giving me this opportunity. Having spent over 16 years in the industry, I can bring a wealth of experience to the role with instinctive acumen for what retailers are looking for in what are still very tough times."

Ally Doak has been promoted to Sales Manager for Scotland and Ireland, and has been with Crosswater for almost six years as area manager for Scotland and previously worked at Bathstore as Business Development Manager in Midlands area. This is a key appointment as Crosswater continues its aggressive sales expansion throughout the British Isles as in addition to continuing her responsibilities for Scotland, Ally will work at developing Crosswater's dealer network in Northern Ireland and Eire.

Marten Baker, Commercial Manager of Bauhaus says:

"Two further members will be introduced to the sales team in the North to ensure we continue to offer the excellent service that our customers have come to expect from Crosswater. With the introduction of a Contracts Team this year combined with the successful new product launch at KBB and the new ranges we hope to bring to market early 2013, these are very exciting times at Crosswater and I am very happy to be involved."

The appointments are part of Crosswater's overall business expansion strategy to capitalise on the Group brand and its core product strengths, which are dedicated to bringing cutting edge design and innovation to meet the demands of today's modern bathroom schemes.
