BSW celebrates 50th anniversary

Haywards heath-based BSW Building Services, the south-east's well-known independent central heating contractor, is celebrating 50 years in business.

Providing central heating systems and renewable energy solutions to both domestic and commercial clients, the company says its landmark anniversary coincides with a very positive year's trading as it continues to win business despite the economic downturn.

Charlie Belliere, Partner at BSW, is delighted with the firm's ongoing success: "Over the past 50 years BSW has worked with countless local councils, businesses, schools and private clients across Sussex and the south-east and we are thrilled to still be playing such an important role within the local community," he says. Established by John Belliere Snr in 1962, father to current chairman John Belliere, BSW has grown to a team of over 100 and has expertise across all types of central heating including service and maintenance, renewable energy solutions and asbestos treatment. The company continues to be run on a family level and encourages dedicated employees to recruit their family members into the business.

BSW offers innovative bespoke solutions across all property types, including listed buildings that warrant particular care and expertise. Recent clients include The National Trust, English Heritage, Brighton General Hospital and the University of Brighton.

BSW is approved by Gas Safe, OFTEC (oil), NICEIC (electrics) and HETAS (wood burning appliances). It is also accredited by the Energy Savings Trust and Microgeneration Certification Scheme (renewable energy systems) and is an active member of the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme and Checkatrade.com
