Kaldewei UK opens its doors

On 8th July, Kaldewei, the world-renowned manufacturer of steel baths and shower trays, held an Open Day to officially mark the launch of its new UK headquarters in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Around 100 guests turned out to meet the team - including senior members of the management team from the German head office -and tour the new purpose-built premises.

The stunning new showroom displays 19 models of Kaldewei baths, shower trays and working whirlpool baths and a fully-equipped training facility allows Kaldewei to host a variety of seminars for selected target groups.

Members of the press were given a private preview with buffet lunch between 10.00 and 15.00 and customers arrived from 16.00 for their own exclusive event where a perfect Summer evening provided the backdrop for a tasty alfresco barbecue with beer, wine and entertainment.

A pleasant evening was enjoyed by all, kicked off by UK Managing Director, Martin Russell, who took the microphone to welcome customers and declare the new premises officially open for business.

Open from 09.00 - 17.00 from Monday to Friday, the new facility has plenty of parking and the central location takes advantage of good road connections and easy access from all parts of the country.

Customers are encouraged to take advantage of the first-class facilities which perfectly suit Kaldewei, as they are befitting an international, premium bathroom brand.
