De Dietrich appliances chosen for new cookery school at Wellbeing Farm

* The-Wellbeing-Farm-Cookery-School.jpgDe Dietrich appliances have been exclusively chosen by Lancashire-based The Wellbeing Farm for its brand new purpose-built Cookery School. A prestigious launch event was held on 4th March 2013 for VIP guests, who were treated to a cookery demonstration by Mike Harrison, one of a number of chefs who will be teaching a variety of courses at the School.

Situated in beautiful countryside in Edgworth, near Bolton, The Wellbeing Farm is the vision of managing director, Celia Gaze. The original building, barns and outhouses have been extensively rebuilt and refurbished to become a complete lifestyle venue dedicated to all aspects of wellbeing. With its own wind-powered electricity turbine, the Farm is also entirely self-sufficient.

To complement the environmentally-friendly ethos of the Farm, all appliances from the De Dietrich Core Collection have been chosen for their efficiency as well as their advanced technology. Each workstation features an A-10% energy-rated DOS1160X touch control multifunction pyroclean oven with steam functions and animated display, together with highly efficient DTi600V four zone induction hobs. The demonstration bench features a DTi1032X induction wok, and DTi1041 continuum zone. Both DHD1192X designer hoods feature powerful yet efficient perimeter extraction.

Offering a variety of cookery courses, the Executive Chef is Mike Harrison, owner of Chef to Go and a chef / tutor for the Novelli Academy. Guest chefs include Justine Forrest, a regular on local radio and a specialist in 'cooking without the calories' and TV chef, Tom Bridge, who has most recently been filming for the 'Great British Bake Off'.

The Wellbeing Farm Cookery School will also be used as a De Dietrich Training Centre for the North-West.

Richard Walker, sales & marketing director, De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances says:

"We value true partnerships with Cookery Schools as they present a great opportunity for potential customers to 'try before they buy', experiencing the real benefits our product range can deliver. We are therefore delighted to announce our latest association with the Cookery School at the Wellbeing Farm, which will also act as our training centre for the North West. The venue is stunning and we are very impressed by the breadth and scope of the daily Cookery courses on offer.

"We are very pleased by the enthusiastic and proactive approach of the team, and we look forward to a long and happy association in the future."
