Tom Bruck appointment will strengthen Burbidge brand

Popular kitchen frontals and accessories manufacturer, Burbidge, has appointed Tom Bruck as product manager for fittings following the acquisition of Woodfit earlier this year.

Tom joins the Burbidge business with over eight years' experience within the kitchen sector, having been an area sales manager and then general manager of Woodfit. Tom then became the managing director of the Woodfit business in 2012.

In his new role Tom will be responsible for selecting the fittings to accompany Burbidge's extensive kitchen range and will form an integral role in the development of its new products and accessories.

Commenting on his appointment, Tom said: "The Burbidge business has a lot of qualities that are similar to those of Woodfit and while it's a new environment for me, I'm really enjoying working with such an experienced team.

"There will, of course, be some challenges following the acquisition as my new colleagues get up to speed with the range and as we fully integrate the two businesses, but this is to be expected and I'm really looking forward to what the future might bring."

Ben Burbidge, managing director of Burbidge says: "We are rapidly building a portfolio unrivalled in quality for the middle and upper UK kitchen markets and this is something we are keen to develop throughout 2013. It is a natural fit for Burbidge to offer fittings and in Tom's new role he will ultimately be responsible for maintaining the relationship with loyal customers now and in the future."
