Morpheus has appointed Charu Ghandi as its new Head of Design to further spearhead the development of the company as an international design house.
Charu joins from global interior design company Candy & Candy, where she was a key member of the private commissions design team and is highly experienced in delivering exquisite residential interiors for prestigious international residential projects including One Hyde Park: The Residences at Mandarin Oriental.
A fully qualified architect, Charu has extensive knowledge of both architectural and interior design processes, as well as creative flair and a meticulous eye for detail. Charu was educated at the Architectural Association where she later went on to teach, before joining the London office of Allies and Morrison in 2006. During her time at this renowned architectural practice she worked on a number of landmark international projects, including the Doha National Library and multiple premium hotel and spa brand projects across Asia and the UAE. Her work has also included the masterplan for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
To her new role at Morpheus, Charu brings a unique blend of architectural expertise, a passion for interior design and a focused approach to business development. She will lead the dynamic design team in order to build on the successful 20 year brand history of Morpheus - delivering an innovative, personal and seamless service to their clients.
Charu says: "I am thrilled to be joining such an established and successful team and I look forward to securing new and interesting projects in the UK and overseas. Morpheus matches my ambition of wanting to deliver the very best-in-class design services to our clients and in turn create truly exceptional homes."
