Chalon's new Knutsford showroom opens for business
Chalon UK, the internationally renowned designer and manufacturer of handcrafted kitchens, bathrooms and freestanding furniture, is pleased to announce that its new showroom in Knutsford, Cheshire, is open for business.
Conveniently located at 50 King Street, it is part of the central town shopping footprint and is positioned in what is already a well-established hub for the luxury kitchen market. The doors have officially been open since the August Bank Holiday but the new showroom's staff are looking forward to and working towards a client / trade / press launch event on Thursday 7th October, for which invitations are currently being sent out.
Chalon's Knutsford showroom is staffed by qualified design consultants Neil Wright and Sam Burgess as well as interior designer Lisa Cavill, so a visit will be accompanied by a first class design service. Free kitchen design consultations form one of the key parts of the showroom experience, but the comprehensive design service also includes advice on flooring, lighting, soft furnishings and even colours - every element necessary for a successful room.
There are three full kitchen roomsets on display, along with a utility and pieces from the freestanding furniture collection. A hallmark of Chalon's showrooms is that each display is shown as a complete room, with every item available for purchase or specification within a design.
Notable features include use of the new Chalon Vintage colour palette, examples from the successful Chalon lighting range, a working Aga to allow for cookery demonstrations and other themed events - as well as the usual distinctive Chalon kitchen furniture, combining the finest quality craftsmanship with clearly defined areas for the key functions of every kitchen: food storage, preparation, cooking, cleaning - and, of course, eating, entertaining and relaxing.
Over the past 12 months, Chalon UK has opened a new showroom in Tunbridge Wells; launched a new range of lighting (with more new products currently in R & D) and rolled out its Chalon Interiors range of complementary products to all of its showrooms. Plans in the pipeline for the remainder of 2010 include a re-launch of the company's Designer Collection kitchen range.
Established in 1978, Chalon UK, based in Hambridge, Somerset, has showrooms in Edinburgh, Harrogate, London, Knutsford, St Albans, Tunbridge Wells and Hambridge and a network of agents throughout the world.
