Bang on trend with colour in the bathroom this Spring

With colour being incorporated more and more into modern bathroom design, Swiss manufacturer Laufen is bang on trend with its furniture offering, with many of its ranges available in hues in line with this season's 'must-have' Pantone colours.

Of the 38 special paint finishes available on many furniture units from Laufen, four have been named among Pantone's most important colours for 2014. For more than 20 years, Pantone, the global authority on colour, has surveyed the designs of New York Fashion Week and beyond to identify the season's most important colour trends.

The top colours for Spring 2014 include Radiant Orchid (top pic), Placid Blue, Dazzling Blue (above) and Hemlock (below), all of which are emulated on Laufen furniture.

Homeowners looking to emulate trends from the fashion catwalk in their bathrooms can do so with Laufen's speciality paint finishes, including the Pantone Colour of the Year - Radiant Orchid. A bold, strong colour, Laufen furniture in Radiant Orchid will bring a sense of vibrancy to the contemporary bathroom this Spring. Both this and Dazzling Blue are perfect companions to softer, pastel shades which can be used elsewhere in the room's design.

At the other end of the spectrum, Placid Blue is ideal for bringing a sense of peaceful calmness to the surroundings, while the ornamental green of Hemlock gives a hint of summer all year round.
